Friday Letters {Vol. ?}

I know that there isn't a link-up today, but I still felt like writing letters so here I am ;)

Dear Michigan Weather: I don't appreciate the FORTY degree temperature drop that has occurred over the past week. You're making my body go all out of whack. Dear Gardner White: I'm still really mad you messed up our couch delivery, but that is still overshadowed by how excited I am! Dear Corie {myself}: You need to cut back on your unnecessary spending. Big time. Dear New England Patriots: I am so happy that you're back on my TV screen! Especially you T. Brady ;) Dear Husband: I can't wait to snuggle with you on our new couch! Dear Duke: You're starting to look so old now that you have a mustache. I'm not ready for my baby to grow up! But I am ready for the chewing to end!

Dear Husband's New Job: I don't appreciate the fact that you feel like you can walk all over him. He is an AMAZING worker and it'll be your lost if things continue this way {he's worked nearly 70 hours during his first week & they're STILL asking him to come in on his first day off! And a lot of other annoying factors that is a post for a different time}. Dear GRE Prep: Why are you so unappealing and difficult? My motivation is at zero and this is a huge problem. Dear Job Search: I'm praying that you're going to come to an end very soon! I really hope one of these nanny positions works out. Dear Duke: Unfortunately we think it's time to say enough is enough and get you a muzzle. NOTHING is stopping him from biting/jumping/taking anything he can get his mouth on {this last part is our fault}. Dear Husband: Words can't describe how excited I am to celebrate our first anniversary tomorrow! I love you <3

Dear Graduation: You're only 8 days away! How did the past 5 years go by so quickly?! I honestly cannot believe it. I finish my undergraduate degree Wednesday at 4pm!

Dear Cruise: That means you're only 9 days away! I am so, so, so excited :)

Dear Job Gods: Please help me find a full time job that I'll enjoy.

Dear Oakley: I'm loving my new Forehands! I love the fact that I got them for 65% off even more though ;)

 Dear Duke: I do not appreciate your new habit of waking up at 1 & 7am every morning. Momma needs her sleep!

Dear GRE: It seems we'll meet again this summer...  

Dear Apartment: I'd love it if you packed yourself!

Friday Letters

Dear Blog Readers: I'm sorry I disappeared this week, I got a horrible sinus bug and have been in bed every minute that I wasn't working on school work. I'm hoping to find some time this weekend to catch up. Dear Body: Please kick these sickies by tomorrow morning. I cannot be sick for the Tigers game tomorrow! Dear Michigan weather: Please continue to get warmer! It's 45 degrees and sunny right now and it feels so amazing. It's amazing what the sunshine can do for a girl ;) Dear Duke: You turned 6 months old yesterday and I can't believe how fast you're growing! You are a demon, but I still love you more than anything. Dear Graduation and Cruise: You're THREE weeks away!!! That is insane!

Friday Letters

Dear Duke: Thankfully you tested negative for parasites, but you're still on a very strict diet of boiled chicken and rice for the next two weeks and then a very bland dog food diet for three months. I wish that I could magically make your tummy feel better! You're also loosing teeth left and right so we're hopeful that the teething stage will be over shortly! Dear Final Semester: Only five more weeks stand between me and graduation! I can't believe it! Those five weeks sure are going to be busy though between wrapping up classes, packing up the apartment, and getting ready for the cruise. Please be nice to me! Dear Blog Readers: I can't tell you how good it feels to have a set blogging schedule and to know that I won't "fall off the wagon" anytime soon. I hope you're enjoying all of the posts lately and that you're looking forward to upcoming ones :) Dear Husband: This week has definitely been a trying one, but we've come out on the other side and I'm looking forward to our last laid back weekend in Kalamazoo!

 Dear Warm Weather: Where are youuuu?! I had a tiny glimpse of you last week, but then you disappeared again. I am not a fan. Dear Carnival: Get your sh*t together and fix all of your cruise ships. I do not want to be worrying about getting stuck at sea with no toilets or power. Dear Graduation: How are you only SIX weeks away?! I'm not sure if I'm ready for the real world yet. Dear T: I can't wait to go out on a date with you tomorrow night. Dear Duke: I wish we knew what was upsetting your tummy so much :( I promise that we'll figure it out and fix it! Dear Spring: WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?! I am SO sick of snow and freezing temps and winds so strong that my cheeks are chapped. I'm ready to take my extremely active puppy for long walks, go on bike rides with my husband, have picnics, visit the beach, go camping.. and the list continues. I obviously need to move further south. Dear Duke: I know that your big molars are coming in and that your tummy has been feeling crappy, but I am ready for the biting to be over. My poor hands/forearms have more than 20 bite scabs/scratches on them. We're also going to figure out why your tummy has been so upset. Dear Spring Break: you're only a week away! We're not going anywhere warm or doing anything cool, but having a break will be extra nice. If only I could sleep in.. Dear Honeymoon: You're less than 10 weeks away! Packages have started to arrive, numerous packing lists have been made, and we are so anxious. Hurry up!

Dear Valentines Day: My husband doesn't understand what's so great about you, but I do. I love celebrating love. I love going on dates. I love dressing up. I love getting mushy cards. I love being spoiled (and hey at least I'm not afraid to admit it). However, the hubs and I have decided that we're also going to pick a random day (still haven't decided on which one) to celebrate our marriage and love. Like another Valentines Day except for only us. This was our first Valentine's Day together in 4 years and it did not disappoint! Dear Husband: Life hasn't been very easy lately and marriage never is, but I promise you that it'll get better. That I'd rather spend these crappy days with you than with anyone else. I love you. PS- I loved our date night last night and can't wait for another one tonight! Dear Devil Puppy: You started Puppy Kindergarten this week and did so well! Part of me is so proud of you, but the other part is wondering why you were such an angel there when you're such a devil at home. Dear Loud Neighbor: I do accept your apology and appreciate the letter, but I can't say that I'm going to miss you once you move next week! Now we don't have to walk on eggshells every time Duke barks. Dear Safe Haven: You didn't live up to my expectations :( I reread the book last month so that I could really compare the two and after seeing the movie I regret that decision. I wasn't enjoying the movie, because I was just comparing the entire time. I'll rent it once it comes out on DVD and see if I enjoy it more.

 Dear Tax Refund, you have made our entire year! Now we have to wait patiently until you show up. The perks of being married ;) Dear Duke, you are such an adorable little stinker. I know that one day you'll be the best dog we could have ever have asked for. I'm just impatiently waiting for that day. Dear Puppy Training, please get easier. I'm trying my best and I feel as if it's still not enough.  Dear Husband, thank you for struggling through this with me. I honestly could never do it on my own. Also, I'm so proud of you! You're kicking butt on your first exams. Dear Cruise/Belated Honeymoon, I cannot wait for you and you're roughly only three months away! Dear Body, get ready to get back in shape. We're getting back to running and I promise that eventually you'll feel a million times better.

Dear Apartment, I'm sorry I neglected you all week and that you're such a mess now. As soon as I hit publish on this post I will change that! Dear Mailbox, today is going to be a GREAT mail day! New Erin Condren planner, fall/winter Scentsy order, and a new going out/dress up coat! I can't wait :) Dear 1st Exams of this Semester, pretty please be nice on me next week! I need to "start" this semester off on the right foot! Dear Law & Order: SVU Premier, you BLEW MY MIND away last night! SO happy my favorite show is back! My Dearest Husband, TWO WEEKS/14 DAYS until you're home. I cannot believe it. It's really starting to sink in now that you've packed up all of your belongings and have started to clear Ft Polk. The next few months are going to be the best ones we've had in the last few years and I can't wait!

Dear Husband, in THREE weeks we will be reunited FOR GOOD! Words cannot express how excited I am. You're never allowed to leave me for more than a weekend again you understand me?! Dear Fall Semester, you are killing me! I know that it's only going to get crazier, but please be nice to me. Dear Online Shopping, you are my favorite activity in the whole world but you're killing my bank account! I'm sorry, but we're going to need to cut ties soon. Dear 2013 Erin Condren Planner, you are on your way to me and I can't wait to get you! Who cares if I can't use you until January! Dear blog, I have so many post ideas planned out but no time to write them :( I'm going to work on changing that this weekend!

Adventures of Newlyweds 

Dear Blog, I have a lot of plans in store for you. From weekly wedding recaps, to link ups, to newlywed life, and so forth. But first I need to learn how to make a watermark and resize pictures in Photoshop. I also need to do some cleaning up and organizing. Please bare with me! Dear Michigan, I will be home in two weeks! I miss your residents (my family & friends), Panera, shopping, Target, and oh just about everything else. I'm ready for all the new adventures! Dear GRE, please, pretty please be easy on me next Saturday. I am absolutely terrified of you. I've never done well on standardized exams and a lot is riding this! Dear Football Season,  welcome back! I can't wait to spend every Sunday cheering on my Pats! Dear Husband, I adore you. Thank you for always putting up with me and loving me no matter what. We have a beautiful life ahead of us!
